As a semi-custom Yellowfin 42 center console, ROARING SURF was quality-built of the best materials, hardware, and systems; and indeed, Yellowfin boats are some of the most well-respected and desirable open offshore fishing boats in the market. Configured with quadruple Mercury Verado 4-stroke 350hp outboards, this Yellowfin 42 has a distinct advantage getting out to the tournament fishing grounds! Her helm electronics include two 24” Simrad NSO evo3S multi-functional touch displays and processors capable of integrating with third-party electronics as well as Simrad components, such as Simrad’s S5100 Echo Sounder with CHIRP high performance sonar, XSonic AIRMAR R509 L-HW 2Kw broadband transducer for boats over 40ft and higher speeds, capable of detecting more fish with its wider fixed beam, Lowrance’s LSS-2 StructureScan high-definition skimmer transducer with SideScan and DownScan Imaging™, and more. Audio entertainment electronics include the Fusion 300 / JL amps and speaker system.

She has been upgraded with New Simrad MPU’s (2, one per display) and just had New Dek-it installed throughout the boat.
