Play Pen40' Topaz Express Sportfish 2006

A very rare find in the market, this lightly used vessel has only 450 engine hours and has been maintained to a high standard. 

New in 2021 enclosure, aftercooler coolers were replaced December 2022. Seller has service records and receipts and is well maintained. She features rocker switches at the helm, pneumatic lifts for hatches, doors, new VHF antennas, new electronics covers, Cat Displays covers, etc. Bottom job detail, etc. Major engine services done in 2024.

She sleeps four with one head and shower. Inside cabin is a forward V-berth with the filler. Port side, mid-ship is a convertible U-shaped dinette. A pullman swings down for another bunk as well. 40 Express

With her graceful lines and flared bow, the Topaz 40 Express ranked with the best-looking express fishing boats of her day. She was introduced in 2005, the same year Egg Harbor acquired the Topaz name and brought the brand back into production. Designed to compete in the offshore tournament wars, the 13-foot beam of the Topaz 40 is modest indeed compared with competitive express fishing boats. That said, less beam translates into greater hull efficiency that, in turn, results in better fuel economy—no small consideration in today’s era of high fuel costs. The layout of the Topaz 40 features a center helm with flanking settees on the bridge deck that, like most express boats, lifts on hydraulic rams for engine access. Standard cockpit amenities include a bait prep center with sink, two macerated fish boxes, fresh and raw water washdowns, livewell, and transom door with lift gate. Below decks, the original teak-trimmed interior has V-berths forward, a large head with separate stall shower, and a convertible dinette. Newer models have a private stateroom forward with an offset double berth. Cat 715hp C-12 engines cruise at 30 knots (mid 30s top).
