Specifications
There are two staterooms each with queen berths. Hella Turbo fans are in each stateroom. The Salon has the upgraded popular U-Shaped convertible dinette with under-seat and under sole storage. There are lots of hanging lockers and enclosed shelving between the starboard MSR stateroom and Head, with dry under-sole passageway storage. The Head is forward to starboard with a vanity/medicine cabinet, lavatory, and a separate shower compartment. Salon has Cherry paneling, Teak and Holly sole, large U-Shaped convertible dinette with beautiful Blue Ultra-leather upholstery, two Hella Turbo fans, and hide-a-way screen for center forward opening windshield. Slightly elevated overlooking the U-Shaped settee is an L-Shaped settee aft to port with the lower helm to starboard. The Helm has an adjustable double-wide lower helm seat, dry bar storage, AM/FM/CD stereo, and a phantom rolling screen door (for back door). The enlarged Galley in 2005 located in the portside hull, has large countertops on both the inboard and outboard sides. Lots of storage, large SS sinks, electric 2-burner stovetop, microwave/convection oven, refrigerator/freezer forward, with more dry storage beneath the lift-up Galley sole.
The Topside includes an enormous Flybridge area with Upper Helm Station, with build-in passenger seating, and numerous storage lockers. On deck there are wide walk-arounds, wide cushioned aft seating, and Transom Stairs on each hull. A swim ladder on the port side makes getting in and out of the water a breeze! There is a super strong, upgraded davit system, with a 2020 AB Rib with Yamaha 2021 15hp 4-stroke OB engine for those lovely beach and town excursions.
Main Salon:
Salon is comprised of two levels spanning across the bridge deck: The lower helm (described separately below) and L-Shaped settee on a raised bridge deck level aft. This level overlooks the U-Shaped convertible settee two steps down and forward, with Cherry table. Lots of storage under settee and in lift-up sole under table. Settee converts to berth with filler cushions.
Galley:
The Galley is well laid out and uses its space very efficiently. The 2005 model Galley provides almost twice as much usable space as previous models. It is located two steps down from the Salon, midship in the port hull. The Galley is open to the Salon and Dinette area and provides good ventilation and ease in socializing with people in the Salon while working in the Galley. There is a uniquely designed pass-through from the Galley to the U-Shaped Settee eating area by removing the portside settee seat back, to allow an even more open feeling with your Guests.
Master Stateroom - Located Aft Starboard:
The Master Stateroom has a queen-sized berth positioned athwartship. Uses all standard sized queen bedding. In the hallway between the MSR and the Head and Shower forward in the hull are lots of cabinet, shelf and lift-up sole storage. There is also one opening porthole in this hallway. One portable fire extinguisher.
Head and Enclosed Shower:
The Head is located on the starboard side forward. It contains convenient storage spaces, electric toilet, and the separate stall shower.
Guest Stateroom - Located Aft Portside:
The Guest Stateroom is in the aft port hull, aft of the Galley. It also has a queen-sized berth positioned athwartship.
Deck and Hull Equipment:
Lower Helm and Electronics:
For a Powercat this has a unique and very well thought out Lower Helm Station. It is located just to the bottom of the stairs from the elevated upper deck to the starboard side. This Helm Station is also elevated in the Cabin by one step overlooking the U-Shaped Settee in the Salon cabin area. This design allows for quick access to the deck for docking situations. It also allows for a great socializing situation because all the interactions with people in the cabin are forward of the Captain and not behind them. There is a 360d view with big panoramic window views in air conditioned comfort and out of the rain. There are three big pantograph windshield wipers to keep the view open. The Captain’s seat is a double-wide and adjustable fore and aft. All Navigation, Handling, and Engine monitoring equipment is well laid out and easy to read. There is an L-Shaped Settee opposite on the port side with a large chart table for the Navigator.
Flybridge and Electronics and Controls:
The Flybridge has a beautiful layout. A wide array of cushions allow for large group seating. The Radar Mast and Bimini Top can easily be dropped down for cruising under low structures. The centerline Helm Chair is fully adjustable and very comfortable. There is lots of storage under built-in fiberglass cushioned seating. SEA RENITY has a full array of Navigation and engine monitoring equipment up there. The stairs up and down to the Flybridge have great SS handholds and is very safe whether going forwards or backwards. Walk up and down them like you are at home.
Electrical:
All electrical is very easy to work on in a 34 PDQ. The electrical panel is located directly behind the Lower Helm Station. All switches and breakers are well marked behind a smoked acrylic opening panel. You can sit on the Settee seat with easy access to the panel. No getting on your knees and searching around in the dark to find switches and circuit breakers. To access ALL electrical wiring, etc is just lifting a Cherry panel just inboard of the AC/DC panel. Also, the AC/DC panel pivots out on hinges for easy and complete access to the wiring of the entire boat and its navigation and engine control equipment.
Engine Details and Mechanical Equipment:
Equipped with the twin 75hp Yanmar engines SEA RENITY easily cruises at SEA RENITY at 12-14 MPH and WOT at 17 MPH. She just had the 1,000 hour scheduled maintenance on both of the engines in 2022 (Port 2,013 hours, Starboard 1,949 hours). There is full documentation and invoices going back to 2017. Also all equipment manuals and PDQ Factory Manual. She has the Aquadrive antivibration system which will help you, and your crew enjoy the peace and quiet of boating. By isolating the engine from the rest of your boat, noise and vibration are greatly reduced. Aquadrive will also help to keep your driveline in good condition by minimizing wear and tear on the transmission and cutlass bearings. Daily runs on the ICW will be much more enjoyable!
