Since 1981, North Shore Boats Ltd. has been crafting custom trawlers in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. Built in the Downeast style, the MUSTANG features a custom cabin on top of a lobster-boat-inspired hull with a full-length keel. Downeast boats are renowned for their ruggedness, reliability, and performance in rough seas, and MUSTANG is no exception. With its full keel and ballast, this vessel is more than capable of handling bluewater adventures.
MUSTANG boasts a full-width, enclosed Flybridge and an open cockpit with transom storage behind the cabin, comfortably accommodating more than the suggested 14 passengers. Powered by a 440 hp Yanmar 6LHY2A-SP engine with 1,070 hours, along with a Northern Lights genset, she offers a reliable power source. The 400-watt solar panels with a battery monitor provide an environmentally friendly, quiet alternative to traditional power sources. Equipped with a Garmin chartplotter at the Flybridge helm, a Furuno radar, chartplotter, and depth sounder at the lower helm, and VHFs/AIS at both helms. The 360-degree views from both the Flybridge and Main Salon ensure excellent visibility.
The spacious interior has 6’5” of headroom and a 13’ beam, offering an open, sunlit layout. The Main Salon features a compact Galley with a small fridge, 2-burner stove, microwave, and a convertible dinette that seats six. MUSTANG sleeps six comfortably, with a queen island berth and a double hanging locker in the forward cabin.
Whether you're seeking a live-aboard, planning a diving expedition, sportfishing trip, or overnight getaways, MUSTANG combines seaworthy performance with comfort and style.
