It features an in mast furling mainsail with German sheeting led aft so you can trim the main and jib from either side easily.  The roller furling 110 percent jib has a high performance three dimensional inhauler and barber hauler system that controls the shape of the sail so you can easily add foot or leach tension for all points of sail and excellent all round sail trim. Jib sheets also leads aft to Harken winches at both steering stations for easy trimming. Forward on deck is an anchor locker with electric windlass and anchor roller system for easy use while putting the hook down for a casual lunch or an overnight in a quiet cove. The twin wheel 349 walk thru layout provides comfort and maneuverability while underway. The stern transom easily folds down for swimming (includes a swim ladder) or easy access to get aboard while stern to at the marina or boarding from the tender. It also has a hot and cold pressure water shower to rinse off before going below after a swim. The double fold out cockpit table is great for hosting ‘apres sail’ or a full dinner under the stars. Access on deck to both the port locker and starboard cabin is provided through waterproof hatches for ventilation and safety. Aft there is a dedicated compartment for a liferaft to port and locked access hatch to starboard for internal access to the hull systems. The comforts of home are provided in the 349. With its long waterline, 11ft 3’’ beam and large volume hull shape the interior easily accommodates two couples or a family of 5 for extended cruising. The ambiance for the 349 interior is in line with Jeanneau’s modern trend of making their interiors bright, well ventilated and accented with handsome teak trim and golden oak flooring. LED lighting throughout the cabin provides exceptional lumination with subtle track LEDs out of eyesight and energy efficiency for minimal power use.  The salon is a traditional layout and very comfortable. The L shaped galley to starboard has a two burner stove and oven, a single stainless steel sink and a nice size refrigerator freezer. Lots of storage internally to accommodate all your food and provisions for a weekend away. The center line drop leaf table with bench settees on both sides is a classic layout and works very well. The port settee has a chart table at its aft end to house a laptop and monitor electronics and ships systems. The forward V berth is accessed through double doors and sleeps 2 easily and has a hanging locker and cabinets for clothing and linen storage.
