Hunt Yachts 36' HT Express 2006

The Hunt 36 Express is the big brother to the popular 33. The 36 offers more space above and below, more power, speed and increased range, and even more capability at sea. The hull is optimized for speed and efficiency, the theme demonstrated first with the Hunt 33. Careful weight control, use of a single high-output 420 bhp lightweight diesel, a large-area five-blade propeller, and the latest refinements in the Hunt deep-V combine to provide a top speed of 30 knots and a low cruise speed of 12 knots - still on plane. Range is 300-plus nautical miles at 20 knots on its 200-gallon fuel capacity. More space below allows a larger head and galley and more lockers. An optional private forward cabin layout is available. Headroom is six feet, three inches. On the bridgedeck, there is an additional 2 feet more length than on the 33, making room for twin helm and navigator chairs and an L-Settee with expandable dining table. Six inches was added to the cockpit length. Open, Hardtop, and Sedan models are available. Power options include twin diesels and conventional propellers or waterjets. A top speed of over 40 knots is achievable in this latest design from C. Raymond Hunt Associates.

There is a traditional V-Berth with filler (new upholstery 2022) Next aft on starboard is a galley with single burner alcohol/elect stove, under counter fridge, stainless sink with hot and cold water. Next aft on starboard the head with toilet, sink, and shower. Across on port is a settee (new upholstery 2022) that converts to over and under berths. There is a gloss varnished table with the settee.

Up three steps to the cockpit with well appointed helm on starboard and companion seat on port. Also on port is an L-Shaped settee and gloss varnished Teak table. On starboard is a mini galley with stainless sink and hot and cold water. Storage is in drawers and cupboards with gloss varnished fronts. One step down to the aft section of the cockpit with new (removable) stern seat. There is a transom door to a Teak swim platform. All upholstery is new in 2022. There are new (2022) covers for the helm, stern seat, and companionway. COCO features an aft canvas from hardtop to transom.
