1998 Hatteras 65' KRAKEN

The forward section of this yacht has three staterooms for family or guests. Down the stairs from the pilothouse one continues aft to the mid stateroom which is a queen VIP. Actually there are two queen cabins forward and one twin cabin. Lots of storage and each has a cedar lined hanging locker. Overhead hatch in the forward VIP allows for great natural lighting. The lower VIP has a Jacuzzi bath en-suite, while the forward a VIP and the twin stateroom each have a head with separate shower stall. The master stateroom is aft and features a full beam layout for maximum space.

The engine room is expansive as well and full standup height. There is a mechanical room in the forward that houses the ships dual generators, Victron equipment, 48v DC System and air conditioning systems. The salon is open and airy with Galley up and finished out in a light Ash wood interior.

Pilothouse/Electronics:

The pilothouse arrangement is quite spacious for a vessel of this size. There are exterior access doors to port and starboard as well as a privacy door separating the helm from the galley. The guest seating is trimmed in rich green leather and features chart drawers, pull out footrest, and abundant storage underneath. The fly bridge is accessed via the built in staircase located in the pilothouse.

The spacious fly bridge is great for entertaining and features a functional key bar that accommodates 4 stools and refrigerator/ice maker. The upper deck seating configuration horseshoes the area behind the helm and bar and features 2 pedestal tables. There is also a Kenyan gas grill on its own pedestal. There are stamoid covers for almost everything on the bridge.
