AfterMath is a 1976 48' Hatteras raised pilothouse Long Range Cruiser (LRC). She offers twin naturally aspirated Detroit Diesel 4-53N 112 HP main engines, Northern Lights 8 kW generator, Naiad stabilizers, American bowthruster, dripless shaft seals, fuel polishing system, Magnum 2,800 watt inverter, solar panels, AIS, 2 staterooms and 2 heads and over 1,000 gallons fuel capacity. AfterMath is Great Loop capable, but she is also a proven bluewater long range cruiser. She has cruised the Great Lakes to New England to Grenada.

From the swimplatform, you enter the hardtop covered aftdeck through the transom gate. You then enter the salon through a teak & glass door. Once inside the salon, you will find a storage cabinet and lounge chair port aft, 2 stools and a countertop to port, galley port forward, sofa and coffee table to starboard and storage cabinetry starboard forward. Step up into the raised pilothouse and you will find a berth and wrap-around settee aft, side deck access doors on each side, full helm forward and steps to the staterooms starboard forward. Engine room access is via the lazarrette or a salon sole hatch.
The headroom in the salon is 6'5", 6'2" in the master stateroom, 6'4" in the master stateroom shower, 6'6" in the guest stateroom, 6' in the guest shower, 6'7" in the pilothouse, 6'10" on the flybridge, 7'4" on the aftdeck. The master stateroom berth is 6'8" long and the guest berths are 6'6" long. The pilothouse berth is 6'6" long.
The height from the waterline to the top of the solar panels is 19'7", 20'4" to the top of the GPS, 24' to the anchor light and 32'1" with the antennas up.
AfterMath offers a full-beam master stateroom amidships with a queen size berth to starboard, a twin size berth to port and ensuite head with enclosed 1/2 tub/shower; and a guest stateroom forward with a v-berth. The guest head with enclosed shower is starboard aft of the stateroom. There is also a single berth above and aft of the pilothouse settee.
The salon offers a sofa with storage and coffee table with storage to starboard, lounge seat and cabinet port aft and 2 stools and a countertop to port, storage cabinetry starboard forward, bookshelf, vinyl wood sole, opening side and aft windows with screens and a teak & glass door with a screen to the aftdeck.
The galley is located port forward in the salon.
Dining space is available at the salon countertop and the pilothouse settee.
The full beam master stateroom is amidships and offers a queen size berth to starboard and a twin size berth to port, 2 large portlights with screens and curtains, nightstands, reading lights, shelves, 2 hanging lockers, storage drawers and cabinets, full-length mirror, fan, carpet and an ensuite head with an enclosed 1/2 tub/shower.
The guest stateroom forward offers a v-berth, 2 portlights, overhead hatch with a screen, carpet, reading lights, full-length mirror, storage drawers, book shelves, hanging locker, anchor chain locker access.
The head with enclosed shower is starboard aft of the stateroom.
The raised pilothouse offers a U-shaped settee with storage aft, single size berth aft, side deck access door on each side with screens, opening side and aft windows with screens, slide mounted helmseat, teak sole, reading light, fan, guest companionway starboard forward, storage cabinets, stabilizer control, anchor windlass control, Hatteras system monitor panel, bowthruster control, engine controls and electronics as detailed in the electronics section of this presentation.
The flybridge offers engine controls, searchlight control, bowthruster control, electronics as detailed in the electronics section of this presentation, an aluminum framed bimini, non-skid deck, helm/storage forward, bulwark storage on each side, 2 X Garelick Eez-In helm benchseats and a benchseat with storage aft.
The tender deck offers an aluminum davit with Gordon Corp control, non-skid deck, molded-in steps to the flybridge, hinged mast with spreader lights, stainless steel rails, stainless steel fender racks and a bimini.
The aftdeck offers a non-skid deck, transom gate to the fiberglass swimplatform, hardtop, deep freezer starboard forward, washer/dryer port forward, teak & glass door to the salon, overhead hatch to the flybridge, rod storage, 2 rod holders and lazarette and engine room access.
