The Formula 45 has a nice large extended fixed swim platform with concealed swim ladder and pop-up cleats. You can access the engine bay from the swim platform when the engine hatch is lifted. On the transom is a transom storage bin with fender racks along with retractable shore power cable, city water and TV hook up.

You enter the lower cockpit through the transom door on the starboard side. Here you will find the transom shower. On the port side in the cockpit is large L-shaped seating with storage under it.

You have the ability to install and remove the one or two cockpit tables, these can break down and convert into the cockpit sunbed. Located in the cockpit sole is the inspection hatch, that allows you to access the engine bay from the cockpit. Forward of the L-shaped seating is storage for the two cockpit tables and the filler cushions. Opposite side of the cockpit is the wet bar and access to the helm deck AC unit and the AC control panel. In this same area you will see the grill, sink, small storage and the U-Line fridge with ice maker. The air-conditioned raised bridge deck is fully enclosed by the Formula’s stylish hard top that has an electric retractable sunroof. There are molded fiberglass steps that will allow you to walk through the windshield to relax on the two sunpads on the foredeck. Running along the port side in the helm area is a port lounge seat. The Helm seat is double-wide seating two people very comfortably. At the helm there are two Volvo monitoring gauges, two Raymarine E120’s, autopilot, and depth, ICOM VHF along with the ACL remote pad for the remote bow light and a Lewmar chain counter. All of the toggle switches are in good shape; the two fuel gauges and POD angle indicator gauge are in clear working condition. There are six speakers that are recessed into the hardtop along with recessed lights and well-positioned cup holders surround the bridge deck and cockpit.

Starting inside and aft is the air-conditioned mid cabin that has a solid privacy door, and a wet head with solid door; outside the head and in the cabin is a sink with mirrored cabinets above and cupboard storage below. There is a hanging closet with full size mirrored door. You will find storage under both beds; these beds can be converted into a single bed. This room has good head room, and for entertainment there is a Toshiba flat screen TV. This is not a small cabin in the back of the boat that you need to climb in - it is a fair size cabin. The vessel’s 120/12V panel is also in the mid cabin.

Forward is a bright, roomy, comfortable salon and galley thanks to the larger hull side windows and skylight. In the galley are solid surfaces with two stainless steel sinks, a two-burner cooktop and a convection/microwave oven; on the end of the galley cabinet is a case to store glasses with glass door and can be illuminated at night. The galley has great cupboard storage and pull-out drawer space.

Opposite the galley is an inviting dinette with wraparound seating, the salon AC is under the dinette seat. The dinette can be converted into a sleeper. Starboard side you will see hull side storage. On the forward bulkhead is a large 40” flat screen TV, and the vessel has Bose surround sound. The salon sole is a wood veneer and under the salon sole is large storage.

Forward and through another solid privacy door is the owners’ cabin. On the port side is a full separate shower stall with solid door, and to your right is a head, also with a solid door. The cabin has an inline bed with another AC unit under it along with four pull-out drawers. Both sides of the owners’ cabin are hanging lockers and hull side storage, the sole has a veneer finish like the salon, and for entertainment there is a flat screen TV.

This is a great engine room; it is clean and easy to get around in. You have good access to the generator, the fuel shutoff valves, and both JW Vacuflush sanitation systems. There are two deep cycle batteries and five starting batteries -- one 40 AMP and one 80 Battery charger. The reverse oil change system is on the aft bulkhead and easily to access.

The D6 Volvo diesel serial numbers are available along with serial numbers for the PODS.
