The Formula 400 SS is a high performance luxury sport boat built on Formula's "Fas3Tech" hull bottom - a double stepped deep-V hull designed to reduce the water's grip on the hull. According to Formula's engineers, the result is a faster and more stable boat that runs at near optimal running angles without the need to constantly trim the drives. Beautifully styled, the SS is a great day boat with plenty of cockpit space, a doublewide fold away helm seat for stand up driving, and a walk-through windshield that opens to wide stretch of nonskid leading to the bow with a comfortable bow cushion. She's equipped with twin rebuilt Mercury 500 HP EFI engines (200 hours) and Bravo III X Drives with Signature 4-Bladed props and replaced transom assemblies. Other features include AC/Heat, Vacuflush Head with Vanity/Sink/Shower, Full Galley with Full Size Fridge, Windlass Anchor with Forward Pedal Controls, Simrad GPS, Full Canvas Package, Kohler Generator, and more. When the Formula 400 Super Sport was introduced in May of 1998 it earned the coveted "Boat of the Year" award from Boating magazine. The 400 SS has redefined the high performance express cruiser, and its famous FAS3Tech hull, customized for the 400 SS, boasts a stable, dry ride with agility of a true performer and top speed of 55 mph provides captain and crew an exciting ride.
