Bonadeo Boatworks Custom 37 WA, FUN CURVES
The Bonadeo family boatbuilding team combined some of the best features of the Carolina and Florida style sportfish boats, along with their own innovations, to produce a highly fishable, elegant looking, great riding center console walkaround. The handcrafted custom-built Bonadeo 37 features the “Variable Warped” hull bottom designed to run fast in big water, knifing through waves, yet landing softly for a comfortable ride. Constructed of weight-saving composite, carbon fiber, and Kevlar, using various methods—vacuum bagging, epoxy resin, infusion, and hand-laid fiberglass material, as deemed best for that part of the boat. The Bonadeo walkaround center consoles are custom hand built for safety, durability, and extreme attention to detail for a boat that’s easy to use and comfortable, not only for hardcore offshore fishing, but for the family as well, with a comfortable air-conditioned sub-console cabin featuring 6’5” of headroom, large V-berth, freshwater head and sink. Forward of the helm console is double sunpad lounge for “catching rays.” And aft of the helm seats is the wet bar/rigging station that includes a convenient tackle storage unit. Engineered for fuel efficient performance as well as comfort, FUN CURVES’ triple 350hp Mercury Verados cruise in the high 40 mph range and hit a top speed of 60 mph.
2017 Bonadeo 37CCWA Center Console Walkaround
FUN CURVE is the definition of a no expense spared build and exceptional maintenance. Spending the majority of its life stored indoors didn’t mean it was out of sight and out of mind. The owners had the boat routinely cleaned and waxed, and even had every pump in the boat replaced last year (regardless of use). FUN CURVE has a full teak package including toe rail, helm pod, covering boards, coamings, and decks. The house battery bank was upgraded to lithium batteries. Live Wells are plumbed both forward and aft. She sports a brand-new hardtop to rub rail boat cover and has forward and aft shade covers with carbon fiber poles. The Seakeeper tames the rocky days at sea, while the joystick steering, and the bow thruster make close quarter handling a dream. The day head is air-conditioned, and there is a berth forward in the sub-console hull that hosts quite a bit of storage. A pair of 16” Garmin displays are recessed in a glass helm style dash.
