The 55m 2017 Amels yacht AMIGOS is one of the latest Amels 180 models ever built– the yard’s perpetually popular series. Her exterior design is by the legendary Tim Heywood, while Laura Sessa Romboli’s interiors are luxurious yet tasteful, with a subtle palette of creams and silvers creating a spa-like atmosphere on board.

In the main salon, dual fold-down balconies to port and starboard bathe the salon in ambient light. There is a cinema area forward with a large couch, while the formal dining area in the middle of the room is the ideal setting for fine dining.

AMIGOS unique layout accommodates up to 13 guests across six cabins, including a full-beam Owner’s apartment on the bridge deck aft with a private terrace, plus a full-beam 2nd Owner’s Cabin on main deck forward with a fold-down balcony to starboard.

The rest of AMIGOS’s guest accommodation is on the lower deck and comprises two double cabins and two twin cabins, which are all en suite. One of the twin cabins can convert to a double whilst the other has a Pullman berth for occasional guests. A fully equipped gym on the main deck can convert to a staff cabin, as desired.

AMIGOS makes incredible use of her outdoor spaces. One of the main customisations to the Amels 180 layout was a three-metre extension to her sun deck, creating an enormous 175sqm socialising area, which includes a 4m counter-current pool, alfresco dining shaded by the superstructure, a chic sunbathing area, and an outdoor cinema with large projector screen. More sunpads can be found on the foredeck, while AMIGOS’s beach club opens onto a generous swim platform, creating yet more outdoor space.

AMIGOS is also heli ‘touch-and-go’ capable with max take-off weight of 2,000Kg, enabling seamless arrivals and departures. She comes with stabilisers both at anchor and underway and has a Trans-Atlantic range of 4,500 miles.
