Merritt 58 birds eye view

Since 1948, Allen Merritt and family have owned and operated Merritt Boats at their facility right on the intracoastal waterway in Pompano Beach. Even though the yachts produced have grown in excess of 80-feet, the personal touches of a family-run business are still felt all over the boat yard and that ambiance resonates with owners.

OHHH BOY was originally set up to fish for Blue Marlin when it was first designed. The salon on this Merritt 58 sportfish features all of the amenities and comforts you enjoy at home. U-shaped wrap-around seating with a cocktail table center not only provides a great conversation area, but also allows everyone to watch the game on the pop-up flat screen tv. The galley is forward an is equipped with a Merritt refrigerator and freezer, Regency 4-burner stove with oven, and much more to feed everyone on board.

There are 3 staterooms on the Merritt 58 OHHH BOY that comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. The master suite features its own head with shower, as well as a queen-sized berth. There is plenty of storage space in the master stateroom, as well as the guest cabins, for extended fishing trips and cruises. Power for the Merritt 58 are twin Caterpillar 3412E 1,400HP engines that have had only 300 hours put on them in the last 3 years. Owners can expect a cruise speed in the high 20 knot range with WOT speed in the mid 30's depending on the overall load. The engine room is clean and has been very well-maintained by a knowledgeable service team.
