Jim Smith 60 Express Sportfish EURYBIA Sold By United Yacht Sales Broker John Blumenthal

Just slightly over a month after first being listed, EURYBIA, an incredible 60-foot Express Sportfish built by Jim Smith Boatworks, has been sold. "We knew that once our marketing got going and the world saw how gorgeous this boat was, she wouldn't last long," said United Yacht Sales listing broker John Blumenthal. "When we got the listing in December, we immediately went to work. We got a great walk-through video done, we had over 200 United brokers worldwide looking at it immediately, and our team deployed a strong digital marketing campaign aimed at finding the right buyer. We officially got her under contract during the Stuart Boat Show last month and the team did a wonderful job at the closing."
EURYBIA had an asking price of $3,490,000 at the time of sale and was located in North Palm Beach. United Yacht Sales would like to thank Trevor Carroll of Fraser Yachts for introducing the buyer and for an easy, professional transaction.

"This is the perfect platform for any fishing enthusiast," said John at the time the boat was listed. "She is a very stable vessel with all of the sea-keeping abilities being first class." The fighting cockpit on this Jim Smith 60 is built for battle. The teak floor and covering boards look sharp, while the Large Bluewater Marlin Chair calls out to anglers wanting to strap in for battle. A transom door is starboard side for pulling in marlin and there is both a transom live-well and a in-deck livewell for frisky baits. There is a lift-up lid that reveals a joystick control station in the cockpit for maneuvering while close to the action. And of course, there is a plethora of rod holders, in-deck fishbox with Eskimo ice dump, and comfortable mezzanine seating.

The custom tower from Palm Beach Towers has 17 steps to the top, offering incredible views and an exhilarating cruising experience. The blacked-out fiberglass top looks sharp and the captain will appreciate the set of MTU controls, MTU joystick, and Garmin GPS all on the tower, The triple-spreader hydraulic outriggers are made by Rupp.

Entering the bridge deck there is bench seating on both port and starboard sides, as well as a teak table for dining. Forward is the center helm with Bluewater helm chairs. The main deck helm station has easy access to all electronics forward, to port of the wheel, and above in the ceiling. The bridge deck area (seen below) also has air-conditioning and a EZ2CY enclosure.

Moving downstairs, the galley/dinette is closest to the entryway with all of the features one needs when traveling and staying aboard. Teak and holly flooring is found throughout the interior. Forward of the galley are the 2 staterooms including a spacious master suite with an island queen-sized berth. The crew accommodations feature over/under bunks. In this area below, she has all hand rubbed satin finished teak.
